Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an entry-level automotive technician for Honda dealership tasks in Missouri. You will perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, inspect tires and fluids, and replace basic filters and wipers.

You’ll examine brakes, belts and lights, document findings, and follow dealership procedures with proper safety practices. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic automotive knowledge, and a willingness to learn Honda-specific maintenance.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge and basic maintenance understanding.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift/move tires and parts and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn Honda-specific maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes per Honda service procedures.
• Rotate and inspect tires; check tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids including coolant, brake, transmission, and windshield washer fluids.
• Replace basic maintenance items like air and cabin filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, lights, and other components; report findings.
• Follow Honda schedules and dealership procedures; use lifts and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area; complete repair orders and documentation.
• Provide professional customer service and adhere to safety procedures.

Perform oil and filter changes according to Honda service procedures.Rotate and inspect tires and check tire pressure.Inspect and top off fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.Replace basic maintenance items such as engine air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and batteries.Perform basic inspections of brakes, belts, hoses, lights, and other vehicle components.Check vehicles for maintenance or safety concerns and report findings to the service advisor or technician.Follow Honda's recommended maintenance schedules and dealership procedures.Properly use lifts, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Complete repair orders and document services performed.Follow all dealership and OSHA safety procedures.Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with customers or service staff.Common qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous automotive experience is helpful but often not required for entry-level positions.Basic knowledge of automobiles and maintenance procedures.Ability to use basic hand tools.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Ability to lift and move tires, parts, and equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.Willingness to learn Honda-specific maintenance procedures.
