Job summary

InDyne, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead preventive maintenance programs for our site facilities. You will coordinate with site teams and clients to ensure reliable operation and compliance, develop SOPs, and oversee budgeted maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in facility operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff. A civil/mechanical/electrical engineering background and DoD clearance eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in management.
  • 10+ years experience in personnel, facility operations and maintenance and project management.
  • Proficient with MS Office and able to prepare cost estimates and statements of work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment.
  • Create and update operating instructions and SOPs for day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare cost estimates, evaluate contractor proposals, and ensure technical documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain communication with Site Manager and client as primary liaison.
  • Supervise maintenance and operations staff and organize workload as required.

Relevant Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in personnel, facility operations and maintenance and project management
  • Identifying and resolving problems as they emerge to minimize issues and costs (time, manpower, and funds) and ensure compliance with operations and maintenance requirements
  • Ability to work independently, organizing and implementing facility programs, and managing numerous tasks concurrently
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with experience preparing cost estimates and statements of work; evaluating contractor quotes; reviewing documents for technical accuracy; and preparing technical manuals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work well with others, and mentor/train team members
  • Flexibility to changing workloads
  • Assisting with strategic planning

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – may be substituted for relevant work experience in Project and Personnel Management or similar duties

Security Clearance:

  • Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
  • Employment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
  • Favorable completion of a National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks (NACLC) is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance schedule documenting all required facility and equipment preventive maintenance tasks for Clear Site Facilities.
  • Develop, maintain and update various Operating Instructions (OI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used for the day to day operations of facility systems.
  • Comply with all facility warranty update/maintain the United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) warranty management plan
  • Participate in facility commissioning activities and attend any RPIE/system training that is offered
  • Support of facility systems integration includes coordinating, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and operations with affected parties performing functional testing and system operation as required
  • Supervise and direct assigned maintenance and operations personnel and schedule workload IAW requirements
  • Perform facility manager duties
  • Ensure all work complies with the requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
  • Organize and implement operation and maintenance programs that are assigned to this position
  • Prepare cost estimates and statements of work
  • Evaluate contractor proposals
  • Review documents for technical adequacy and assist with technical manuals
  • Maintain ongoing and open two-way communication with Site Manager and client as main point of contact
  • Provide technical expertise to assigned tasks/projects
  • Conduct assigned technical work within budget and on schedule
  • Conduct research, or other field work, as assigned
  • Attend, participate, organize, and/or facilitate meetings as request by the customer
  • Perform other duties as required
Pay Range

Starting from USD $66.00/Hr.
