Job summary

FORTNA partners with leading brands to transform distribution operations with intelligent software and services. The Project Manager owns scope, schedule and budget for material handling projects, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors and customers on-site from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 5+ years in material handling or site project management, and proven scheduling and budget oversight.

Our Team. Our Passion. Our Approach. The Project Manager (PM) owns the scope, schedule and budget for the material handling project(s) assigned. This includes coordination and correspondence with the internal project team, as well as vendors, subcontractors, and the customer. As the customer requires an on-site Project Management presence for the duration of installation from First Access to project completion on all of their projects, this is the expectation.

• Manage projects up to $40M budget

• Makes tactical decisions and ensure their execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management, or related experience strongly preferred
• 5+ years' experience in the material handling industry or site project management related
• Experience managing a department or focused work team
• Experience with detailed scheduling
• Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues
• Experience in coordinating department activities with other departmentsExperience managing a budget up to $40m

The base salary range for this role is $105,900 to $145,000. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
