Job summary

Washington Corrections Center for Women in Gig Harbor, WA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN4) for full-time, permanent work. Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm with Tue/Wed off. Under RN supervision, you will support nursing care in a correctional health clinic and help ensure safe, effective patient care.

Required: 2+ years as LPN, WA license, CPR training, and proficiency with computer-based programs for scheduling and documentation. Prior facility or correctional care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current Washington State LPN licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR training required.
• Proficiency with computer-based scheduling, patient data entry and email.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing care under RN supervision in a correctional setting.
• Delegate tasks to staff as appropriate and maintain documentation.
• Administer medications and provide competent patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and record information accurately.
