Job summary

Ro Health, LLC seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Youth Correctional Facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, provide wound care, assist with chronic condition management, and coordinate with behavioral health staff to address emotional and medical needs of youth.

Qualifications

• Active AZ LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months LPN experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.
• Strong teamwork and patient-care commitment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed for adolescent patients.
• Monitor and document vital signs and assess distress or illness.
• Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a juvenile facility.
• Assist with chronic condition management (asthma, diabetes, mental health).
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives.
• Educate youth on health, hygiene and wellness to promote positive habits.
• Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs.
• Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment.
• Support youth in adjusting to medical routines in a structured facility setting.
• Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians.
