Job summary

Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for West Central Ohio Academy in Troy, OH. This full-time role provides nursing care and health support to youth, administers medications, conducts health screenings, maintains medical records, and coordinates care with medical and behavioral health teams.

Qualified candidates will hold an Ohio LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication with guardians and staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure appropriate for the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with youth experiencing challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Support intake health assessments and screenings within the LPN scope of practice.
• Document medical histories, nursing care, and health records.
• Provide first aid and support medical emergency response.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and behavioral health professionals.
• Communicate relevant health information to guardians, case managers, and involved agencies.
• Follow applicable healthcare regulations, nursing protocols, and facility procedures.
