Job summary

The Village Network seeks an Entry Level Licensed Practical Nurse for our Wooster Campus in Wooster, OH. You will provide medical care and support compliant activities aligned with our mission and values in residential treatment settings.

Qualifications

Must be licensed in Ohio as an LPN with 2 years of relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; willingness to be flexible.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
Experience with adolescent population and psychiatric medicine is helpful.

Responsibilities

Meets with each client prior to each psychiatric appointment to gather information to aid the prescriber.
Communicates gathered information to the prescriber before appointments.
Provides medication counseling and education under Nursing leadership.
Organizes and monitors Medication Record Sheets (MARS) in residential programs.
Calls pharmacies for prescriptions as directed by physicians or APRN.
Maintains documentation of nursing activities in Medical Records.
Participates in on-call duties/rotation based on client needs.
Performs other tasks within the scope of practice as assigned.
