Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is a 166-bed post-acute care facility in Pittsburgh seeking qualified nurses to join our compassionate team. Shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a on a 4- or 5-day schedule, with a rotating two-week cycle.

You will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise CNAs under the DON, and uphold current state and federal standards. We offer a strong clinical team, competitive pay of $36/hr, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities within our PACS network.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered PA nursing license in good standing.
• Ability to maintain required continuing education.
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred).
• Experience with PCC (Point Click Care) is helpful.
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and understanding of Patient Rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision of the DON.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA and will remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred with skills)
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients
• Understanding of Patient Rights

Your day to day:

You’ll provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. You’ll work under supervision of our DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
