Job summary

Morristown-Post-Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team. You will provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and help develop individualized care plans alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Weekend shifts are available to offer flexibility, with opportunities to work within a award-winning post-acute rehabilitation and nursing center adjacent to Morristown Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medication and treatments, as ordered by physicians
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Work flexible weekend shifts, including evenings and holidays

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As an LPN at Morristown Post Acute, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care and achieves their optimal level of health and function.
