Job summary

Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Illinois is seeking compassionate LPNs for the evening shift (2:30-11:00pm). We support focused, quality-driven care and a multidisciplinary team approach in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

As an LPN, you will supervise nursing assistants, document admissions, discharges, and transfers, administer medications, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

LPN Requirements:

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.

As a skilled, compassionate LPN, you will:
