Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is located at the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center's Community Living Center (CLC). You will provide hands-on nursing care to Veterans in a short- and long-term care setting, under the supervision of RNs and physicians, ensuring safe medication administration and compassionate patient support.

This full-time role covers a 24/7 unit with varied shifts and is eligible for federal benefits, including paid time off, parental leave, and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing with active licensure.
• U.S. citizenship and English proficiency as required.
• Current, full, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States or DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care including medication administration and daily living activities.
• Observe, assess, and report changes to RNs/MDs; document appropriately.
• Maintain detailed health records and support care planning with the nursing team.
