Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care by WellStreet is seeking a dedicated LPN to join a fast-paced clinical team in Georgia. You will assist with patient preparation, triage, vital signs, and charting in our EMR system, while providing hands-on care and ensuring patient comfort.

Responsibilities include collecting lab samples, administering injections and medications, starting IVs, and supporting occupational health services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program; LPN licensure required in Georgia.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred (urgent care or ER a plus); willing to train outstanding new graduates.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Perform triage and measure vital signs accurately.
• Document detailed patient history in EMR in a timely manner.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal).
• Initiate IVs, place catheters, and support routine procedures.
