Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse in Georgia to support patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will prep patients, assist with examinations, and document histories in our EMR system, EPIC. The role includes venipuncture, injections, basic clinical procedures, and occupational medicine support.

The position requires GA LPN licensure and completion of an accredited program. Full-time, 12-hour shifts with weekends and holidays possible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program and Georgia licensure.
• Experience with venipuncture, injections and clinical procedures preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Perform triage and record vital signs.
• Obtain and document patient history in the EMR.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal).
• Start IVs, place catheters and perform splinting when needed.
• Assist with Occupational Medicine services and drug screening.
