Description

PeaceHealth is seeking a LPN Triage Nurse for a Remote, Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $27.27 – $40.41. The hiring rate depends on factors such as education, training, work experience, collective bargaining agreements, and seniority.

Although this is a remote position, you must reside in Oregon or Washington state.

Hiring bonus may be available.

Under the supervision of an RN, the LPN provides direct nursing care within their scope of practice, as directed by healthcare providers. Cooperative decision-making is expected in carrying out duties.

Details Of The Position

1. Implements and evaluates patient care under the supervision of an RN, participating in developing patient-specific care plans.
2. Provides direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
3. Documents patient care in health records according to department standards.
4. Assigns, prioritizes, requests guidance, and accepts assistance to ensure safe and timely care delivery.
5. Maintains professional effectiveness through continued education and development.
6. Assists in transporting patients, specimens, supplies, and equipment, and in maintaining and stocking supplies for optimal department functioning.
7. May triage patient phone calls, counsel patients, provide education, take histories, administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.

What You Bring

1. Graduate from an accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program.
2. Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience as an LPN.
3. Licensed Practical Nurse registered in Washington.
4. Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
5. Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple openings may exist for this posting.
