Summary of Job Duties:

The Licensed Practical Nurse II (LPN) supports the ongoing delivery of care, working under supervision to assist physicians & RNs with patient care and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients, gathering medical histories, assisting with tests and procedures, administering medications, and maintaining clinical standards. The role involves direct patient care, documentation, and collaboration within the clinic team. The LPN will also assist other clinics in the service line as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
• Valid LPN License
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Additional Information:

Responsibilities include:

• Triage, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and patient education
• Developing patient’s Plan of Care using assessment data
• Practicing according to standards set by ANA, AR State Board of Nursing, and relevant organizations
• Providing compassionate, respectful care and advocating for patients
• Participating in performance improvement and evidence-based practice
• Collaborating with staff and documenting care appropriately
• Supporting professional development and participating in organizational activities
