GEO Secured Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to coordinate telehealth services for facility patients, enabling access to community specialists and reducing transport needs.

The role requires an LPN license, up-to-date nursing competence, and familiarity with telehealth workflows. Prior telemedicine experience is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to patient care and coordination.

Qualifications

• Must have current, unrestricted LPN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Two years of direct LPN work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of telemedicine equipment and processes is preferred.
• Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical and psychiatric nursing care.
• Ability to work with computers and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all medical telehealth appointments with the facility's designated patient scheduler.
• Prepare the clinical environment and equipment for remote exams and treatments.
• Assist patients with standardized forms and histories for telehealth encounters.
• Serve as liaison to community providers and share vital signs and education as requested.
• Provide requested medical data to providing specialists and document in the health record.
