Job summary

CHI Lisbon Health, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an LPN to provide compassionate nursing care to residents under physician or RN supervision. You will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care in a hospital setting.

Applicants must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with an active LPN license in North Dakota and BLS certification. The role includes documentation duties and collaboration with the surgical team as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and monitor patients across pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and condition.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during intra-operative phase.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate nursing care to our residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.

Every day, you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care.

To be successful in this role, you will exhibit genuine compassion for patient well-being, an understanding of your critical role in ensuring their comfort, and the patience to explain procedures, answer questions, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Performs patient care responsibilities considering the needs specific to the standard of care for patient’s age.
• Sets up scrubs and prepares for procedures prior to scheduled time, as directed by the RN circulating nurse.
• Always maintain an orderly and sterile instrument table for the purpose of efficiency; follows Operating Room standard set up.
• Ability, under direct supervision of an R.N., to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. This includes pediatric, geriatric and the general patient population.
• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and patient’s clinical condition.
• Anticipates the needs of surgeon during intra-operative phase.
