Job summary

State of Georgia seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse 3 (Supervisory) to lead nursing services in Community Residential Alternative, Community Living Support and Day Services. You will administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and coordinate care under supervision of an RN.

Join TGSC sites in Thomasville or Cairo, with a focus on person-centered care, compliance with DBHDD/CMS standards and ongoing staff training for unlicensed personnel.

Qualifications

• LPN license current in Georgia required.
• Two years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Provide nursing care within CRA/CLS and Day Services.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (DBHDD, DCH, CMS).

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform nursing procedures (wound care, tube feeding, catheter care, etc.).
• Monitor vital signs and health data; document and report changes.
• Schedule and transport to medical appointments; provide transportation as needed.
• Lead LPNs and coordinate with RN and DSPs to ensure high-quality care.
