Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an LPN Supervisor to provide leadership across practice sites, guide clinical quality, and ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. You will implement policies, train staff, and collaborate with the Practice Manager on customer satisfaction and staff development.

The role requires LPN licensure in the jurisdiction and BLS certification, with work hours 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time, on-site position in Alexandria, LA.

Qualifications

• LPN license in state of employment or compact required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as role model and maintains competency in technical procedures and clinical assessment.
• Performs treatments or screening tests as directed, ensuring patient understanding to minimize anxiety.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
• Communicates clearly to convey ideas in line with CHRISTUS Mission.
• Adheres to CHRISTUS policies, procedures, quality and infection control protocols; coordinates with clinic programs.
• Supports development of non-professional nursing staff through teaching and role modeling.
• Documents counseling of staff and critical events to keep management informed of clinical issues.
