Kensington Place ALF in Columbus, Ohio seeks a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. You will work with CNAs and other health professionals to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care, while helping maintain independence and dignity for our residents.

The role emphasizes accurate medication administration, care plan implementation, and clear communication with residents and families.

Qualifikationen

• Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain residents' cooperation and reduce apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress.
• Maintains patients' medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Records nursing needs of patient on care plan for continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients and prepare them for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
