Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Braselton, GA seeks a licensed practical nurse to join the stress lab team. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for center patients, and support noninvasive procedures. The role requires GA LPN licensure, a high school diploma, and strong interpersonal skills.

ACLS preferred; 2+ years experience preferred. Schedule varies between shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in Georgia.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• 2 years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled procedures in a timely manner.
• Greet patient, complete assessment and associated paperwork for procedure ordered.
• Explain procedure and assess patient for accuracy of test ordered and notify physician if changes are needed.
• Prepare patient for ordered procedure and assist with Echo & Vascular studies as needed.
• Assist physician and patient with throughput and follow up after testing.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and ensure patient privacy and proper documentation.
