Job summary

Southcoast Health in Wareham, MA is seeking a skilled LPN to join our Orthopedics team. This full-time role offers a 40-hour day shift (8:30am - 5:00pm) with a $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus. You will perform direct patient care and document in the EHR as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience in related setting preferred.
• Current LPN licensure in MA and/or RI is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or to be exempt by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care, including medication administration, patient and family teaching, and testing/procedures per policies.
• Use an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and related software to access or update patient information, ensuring age-appropriate care.
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
