Maury Regional Health is seeking an LPN Staff for the Emergency Department in a full-time, night shift role. The position supports RNs in delivering high-quality emergency care, including vitals, IVs, EKGs, and medication administration, while ensuring a safe and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent (Required).
• 1 Year of Nursing Experience (Preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is implied by role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of emergency care and patient management.
• Assist RN with vitals, IVs, EKGs, meds.
• Manage equipment, supplies, and documentation.
• Support physician and nurse team in procedures.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for evaluations.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes.
• Support behavioral health observation and patient safety.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant care environment.

Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of emergency care, behavioral health care, and patient care management. Assists the Registered Nurse with direct/indirect patient care (vitals, Iv’s, EKG’s, meds) Manages equipment, maintains supplies, documentation, all while working under physician/nurse direction.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient information, vital signs, and specimens.
• Assist with clinical procedures including EKGs, IVs, phlebotomy, and splinting.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures and provider evaluations.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Provide behavioral health observation and support patient safety.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Support emergency response efforts and maintain a safe, compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of Nursing Experience (Preferred)
