Job summary

JumpStart Games is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant to join our Lakeland, FL clinic team. The ideal candidate will perform telephone triage, administer medications, educate patients, and assist physicians to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate medical records.

The role requires an active Florida LPN license or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, plus BLS certification. 90-day timelines for MA certification and ongoing staff support are included.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years.
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.

Requirements

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements Are

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment

Additional Qualification:

1 Year experience in primary care setting. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
