WATSON CLINIC is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Florida. The ideal candidate will be licensed as an LPN in Florida or have MA training with relevant experience in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities include telephone triage, medication administration and documentation, patient education, emergency response, and supporting physicians with procedures while maintaining accurate medical records and smooth patient flow.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program and hold an active Florida LPN license.
• Experience or training as Medical Assistant is considered an asset.

Essential Functions

• Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.
• Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient’s medical records
• Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office.
• Assists the physician with medical office procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of the office.

Requirements

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment

Additional Qualification: 1 Year experience in primary care setting. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
