Job summary

JumpStart Games is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant to support clinical services with telephone triage, medication administration, and patient education. The ideal candidate will respond to emergencies, document medical information per policy, and assist physicians in a fast-paced office environment.

Candidates should have an active Florida LPN license or an accredited MA program with certification in progress.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program and hold an active Florida LPN license.
• MA track requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience; MA cert within 90 days.
• Current BLS certification or to be completed within 90 days of employment; 1 year in primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements Are

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment

Additional Qualification: 1 Year experience in primary care setting. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
