Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an LPN or Medical Assistant in Florida to join our clinical team. The role involves telephone triage, medication administration, patient education, and supporting the physician's office.

The ideal candidate is an LPN with an active Florida license or a Medical Assistant with MA certification and BLS. Prior primary care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program with an active Florida LPN license.
• Experience or training in a medical health care facility as an LPN is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited MA program or 1 year MA work experience (last 2 years).
• MA Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment; BLS certification within 90 days.

Requirements

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment

Additional Qualification: 1 Year experience in primary care setting. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
