Job summary

JumpStart Games, Inc. in Lakeland, FL seeks an LPN or Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced office setting. You will perform telephone triage, administer medications, educate patients, handle emergencies, document medical records, and assist physicians.

Active Florida LPN license or completion of an accredited MA program is required. BLS certification or plan to obtain within 90 days is preferred; 1 year of primary care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or completed Medical Assistant program.
• Must possess active Florida LPN license or be certified MA with plan to obtain certification if required.

Requirements

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements Are

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment

Additional Qualification:

• 1 Year experience in primary care setting.


• Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
