Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct clinical care at the Sobering and Deflection Center in Oregon.

You will perform medical screening, clinical observation, CLIA-waived testing, and administer comfort medications to stabilize participants. Under Medical Director supervision, you will help divert individuals from EDs and the justice system, using trauma-informed, person-centered care aligned with program standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Oregon.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Eligibility to perform CLIA-waived testing.
• Knowledge of substance use intoxication and withdrawal.
• Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Preferred: Sobering/detoxification centers, emergency/urgent care, behavioral health, community or correctional health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care in the Sobering and Deflection Center.
• Perform medical screening, clinical observation, CLIA-waived testing, and administration of approved comfort medications.
• Support diversion from emergency departments and the criminal justice system by delivering trauma-informed, person-centered care.
