Job summary

Concordia Lutheran Ministries seeks an LPN to join Concordia at Ridgewood Place. The shift times are 6am-2:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm, 40 hours per week with every other weekend. Responsibilities include administering medications, resident assessments, and supervising care on the unit.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program with Pennsylvania LPN licensure, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Perks include daily pay, PTO, retirement benefits, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Practical Nurse
• Demonstration of leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Administers medications following all policies and regulations
• Completes resident assessments to plan nursing care
• Completes accurate and timely documentation
• Communicates significant resident care information to physician
• Takes off physician orders and assists with paperwork and referrals
• Communicates with residents and families about changes in condition
• Gives and receives shift reports
• Supervises care on the unit and coaches staff
• Provides treatments and procedures
• Assists Nurse Aides in providing direct care
