Job summary

Covington Post-Acute in Covington, Tennessee, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time 12-hour shift in a skilled nursing setting. Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in TN or compact.
• Active BLS/CPR

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents under supervision of an RN or Nurse Manager.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Notify the RN or healthcare provider of significant changes.
• Administer medications with correct dosage and route and record responses.
• Provide basic wound care and report healing progress or complications.
• Coordinate care with RNs, CNAs and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to resident care plans.
