Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. Sewickley, Pennsylvania, United States is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Main Campus.

You will provide Exceptional Care to residents under the supervision of the DON, administering meds, assessing daily status, and supporting the IDT. Qualifications

• Graduate of a one-year practical nurse program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN/LPN registration.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards and trends.
• Ability to document care accurately and communicate with the IDT.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess daily physical status and report to Charge Nurse.
• Assist with physician visits as assigned.
• Document care provided on a daily/quarterly/annual basis.
• Develop and implement care plans as part of the IDT and attend reviews.
• Participate in Nursing Department meetings.
• LPN will not insert nasogastric tubes or obtain physician orders.
• Perform other related duties as required.
