Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake seeks a licensed practical nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and lead day-to-day CNA activities in a Montessori-Inspired Living environment. The role requires compliance with federal, state, and local standards and a focus on enhancing quality of life for residents.

Qualified candidates will hold an active LPN license or be in training, with good reading and writing skills, English proficiency, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed in good standing or in training to become an LPN.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Previous nursing experience desirable.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures and laws.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations desirable.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNA activities.
