Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood, following nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines.

The role emphasizes building relationships with residents and families, assessing conditions, updating care plans, administering medications, and guiding care associates. A strong resident advocate is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, placing the resident first.
• Assess and document residents' clinical condition and notify the provider or RN when necessary.
• Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in residents' needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately according to orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties in a timely, professional manner.
• Participate in reviews of clinical indicators such as falls, wounds, and nutrition.
