Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care within the community, ensuring residents’ needs are met in accordance with standards and physician orders. Emphasis on person-centered care and collaboration with the care team to support well-being.

Available full-time or part-time, with shifts in days (6am-2:30pm) or evenings (2pm-10:30pm). Requires active state nursing license, CPR/First Aid, and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the resident state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications maintained as required.
• Annual ongoing education hours for nursing license.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state nursing laws and regulations for assisted living.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents per physician orders and Primrose policies.
• Ensure residents' needs are met with compassionate, person-centered care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation per standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with care team to support physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Support residents and families with care planning and education.
