Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a School Nurse LPN to provide direct care for students in a school setting. You will assess health needs, administer medications, and coordinate with families and physicians to ensure safe, healthy learning environments.

The role requires GA LPN licensure and BLS certification, with duties including immunization record audits and staff education. 30 hours per week in a full-time capacity, with paid benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Provide direct care to students and staff in a school setting.
• Screen and refer health care needs when appropriate.
• Administer medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Audit immunization records and health forms.
• Document care in the school EMR and maintain accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to those ill or injured.
• Screening and referral if needed for health care conditions.
• Medication administration, chronic illness management.
• Assist in promoting healthy, safe environment.
• Act as liaison between school, family and physician.
• Audit immunization records and student health forms.
• Document in the EMR per school system.
• Educate staff on health-related issues and treatments as needed.
• Complete online continuing education and attend meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
