Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an LPN to support students in a school setting, including the health room and district-wide roles.

The nurse will manage students with chronic diseases, provide emergency crisis nursing care, and perform health assessments such as vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition screenings. Health education and counseling to students, parents, and staff are included.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure required.
• Valid health certificate and PPD or chest X-ray.
• BLS certification; prior school nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage students with chronic diseases and disabilities in health room.
• Provide emergency crisis nursing care to students.
• Conduct vaccinations and health screenings (vision, hearing, dental, nutrition).
• Deliver health education and counseling to students, parents and staff.
