Salary: $30 - $35 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Newport News is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. This is a 1:1 home healthcare position, which may require a portion of your shift to be in the patient's home or possibly the entire shift, depending on whether or not school is in session.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders during each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:
