Primary Care Partners in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced LPN/RN to provide initial patient care, charting, and patient education while assisting physicians. You will stock exam rooms, maintain clean facilities, and support the back-office team to keep the doctor on schedule.

The role requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and multitasking across patient care tasks, triage, and patient instruction.

Qualifications

• Must be an LPN or RN with nursing experience.

• Medical office experience is preferred.

To stock the exam rooms and to maintain clean facilities for patient careDuties/Responsibilities:Patient CareTrauma assessmentTriage patient callsObtain and chart vital statistics and injections on patientsProvide patient instruction and education materialsMake and chart appointments for out-of-office examsCall patients on test resultsDo nebulizers, spirometry, ear lavage, catheterization as neededOrder various procedures/labs as directed by physicianAssisting PhysicianAttend physicians on all pelvic and breast exams, and minor proceduresKeep physician informed of his daily scheduleDispense oral or injectable meds at physician's directionAdministrativeProvide educational leadership to LPN and MOA staffComplete encounter formClean and supply patient roomsWrap and autoclave clean instrumentsPrepare laundry for pick-upIndividual duties as requested/assigned by Nursing Supervisor (i.e. ER kit, skin/joint tray, ENT/eye tray)Experience:Must be an LPN or RN who is capable of working nursing position; caring personality with a positive attitude; calm under pressure and exhibit sound judgment; excellent time management and problem solving abilities; good communication skills; able to work as part of the back office team and must be accountable.
