Job summary

Independence Home Health LLC seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for part-time Fridays (5:30 AM – 3:30 PM) to provide in-home care in Franklin, IN. You will coordinate patient care, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and collaborate with a team of RNs, LPNs, and Home Health Aides to deliver quality services.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program withHome health experience preferred, strong clinical skills, and clear communication per agency guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Home care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical nursing skills and patient safety focus.
• Effective communication according to agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess continuing needs of the patient and perform initial and ongoing assessments.

To be considered for this position the following must be listed among minimum

qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Home Care Experience preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates competency with technical nursing skills according to personal and legal scope of practice.
• Communicates effectively and in accordance with Agency requirements.
• Assess’ the continuing needs of the patient. Performs initial and ongoing patient’s assessments based on Agency policy and standards of practice to ensure effective and appropriate home care services, as needed.
• Participates with team of RNs, LPNs and or Home Health Aides to provide effective and quality home care services.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for patients and coworkers.
• Performs job duties in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and professional and community standards.
