Job summary

Jacksonville Treatment Center is an outpatient medicated assisted treatment program offering substance abuse treatment to individuals with a substance use disorder of opiates. We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse dedicated to the mission.

The role supports medication administration, inventory control, and coordination with the Medical Director. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30 am–12:30 pm; Sat 6:30 am–9:00 am) with potential flexibility

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in NC is required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
• Maintain confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications based on medical orders.
• Maintain management of medication inventory.
• Assist Medical Director in crisis interventions.
• Monitors the demeanor of the patients during induction and administration.
• Identifies and reports any critical incidents to the Medical Director.
• Observe urine drug screens, as needed.
• Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs.

• Certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician are on staff to deliver the best of care.

We are searching for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse dedicated to the mission.

Qualification Requirements

• A registered Nursing License or Licensed Practical Nursing License is required from an accredited school.
• Valid NC nursing license.
• Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.
• CPR/First Aid.
