Rocky Mount Treatment Center in Rocky Mount, NC seeks a Full-Time Dosing Nurse (RN or LPN) to administer medications and provide MOUD treatment in a private outpatient setting.

You will check medication inventory, work with a treatment team, and ensure confidentiality and ethical practice under federal law. Hours are Monday through Friday 5:30am–12:30pm, with weekend shifts possible and pay discussed in interview.

Formación

• Valid NC nursing license required.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications based on medical orders.
• Provide MOUD treatment to incarcerated individuals.
• Maintain management of medication inventory.
• Assist the Medical Director in crisis interventions.
• Monitor patients during induction and administration; report critical incidents.
• Observe urine drug screens as needed.
• Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs.

Full Time Dosing Nurse: RN OR LPN

Rocky Mount Treatment Center is a private outpatient medication-assisted treatment program offering substance abuse treatment to individuals with a substance use disorder of opiates. The Rocky Mount Treatment Center provides a caring and therapeutic environment. Certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician are on staff to deliver the best care. The mission of our treatment program is to provide opportunities for patients to explore change and strengthen themselves so they can lead healthy and productive lives. We are searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse dedicated to the mission.

Hours of work:

• Monday through Friday 5:30am - 12:30pm with possibility of picking up weekend shifts- will discuss further during interview.
• Will discuss the schedule/pay in an interview.

Qualification requirements:

• A nursing License is required from an accredited school.
• Valid NC nursing license.
• Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.
• CPR/First Aid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer medications based on medical orders.
• Provide MOUD treatment to incarcerated individuals.
• Maintain management of medication inventory.
• Assist the Medical Director in crisis interventions.
• Monitors the demeanor of the patients in the phase of induction of the medication and during all medication administration. Identifies and reports any critical incidents to the Medical Director.
• Observe urine drug screens, as needed.
• Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs.
