Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation is hosting an Open Interview Hiring Event on 10/26/2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Whispering Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility. Walk-ins are welcome; same-day interviews will be conducted.

We are seeking compassionate LPNs/LVNs for full-time and part-time roles with rotating weekend shifts. Responsibilities include recording medical history, taking vital signs, monitoring patients, administering medications, injections, wound care, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, resident rights, and skilled nursing facility standards.
• Experience providing direct patient care to geriatric and long-term care populations.
• Ability to administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies safely and accurately.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs in accordance with state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification

Responsabilités

• Record a patient's medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing, etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
