Anam Care and Anam Glen in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our memory care community. You will care for residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia in a safe, dignified environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, team collaboration, and effective communication with residents and families, with shifts that support memory care programming and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois.
• 1+ year of experience with Alzheimer's or dementia patients preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced care environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor resident responses.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor changes in resident condition.
• Complete accurate and timely daily charting and documentation.
• Supervise and support caregiving staff.
• Assist with and support the community's memory care programming.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies or disaster situations.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.

Shifts: Full-Time | 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Every Other Weekend & Occasional Holidays

Anam Care and Anam Glen, a trusted assisted living memory care community in Rockford, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, helping provide a safe, supportive, and dignified environment.
