Job summary

Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an LPN or RN Charge Nurse for a full-time evening shift (2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, Tue–Fri; off Sat–Mon) in York, PA. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Join a 5-star facility focused on compassionate care and low resident-to-staff ratios. Responsibilities include leadership of CNAs, medication administration, care documentation, and coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges per policy and physician orders.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
• Strong customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.
• Document pertinent information in resident care notes/chart.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents per physician orders and facility policy.
• Provide companionship and nursing care, ensuring understanding of care provided.
• Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and nursing team.

As our Charge Nurse, you will have the opportunity to help set the standard supporting not only our residents, but our nursing team as well. We are seeking a talented LPN who values older adults, to join our team of compassionate care givers.

As the LPN or RN – Charge Nurse your duties would include:

• Providing professional nursing care to our residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.

Requirements:
