Job summary

Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in York, PA seeks an LPN/RN Charge Nurse for a 4-day week (Tue–Fri, 2:45 pm–11:15 pm). This full-time role includes a $7,000 sign-on bonus and aims to provide exceptional elder care with low patient-to-staff ratios.

Responsibilities include administering medications, charting, coordinating admissions and discharges, providing companionship, and leading a team of CNAs to uphold compassionate care. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• At least two years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Document information in resident care notes/charts.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge according to physician orders and policy.
• Provide companionship and nursing care, ensuring resident understanding of care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs.
