Job summary

Burke Health & Rehabilitation Center in Burke, Virginia is seeking an RN/LPN Charge Nurse to lead a dedicated caregiving team and deliver direct patient care in line with MFA Nursing Policies.

You'll supervise CNAs, participate in care plan development, and communicate with patients and families while working with a supportive leadership team and opportunities for growth.

The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. This position also assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns, and summarizes concerns for Clinical Unit Manager.

Qualifications include:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
