Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a licensed practical or registered nurse to join our MAT program in Georgia. The role involves administering medications, maintaining patient documentation, and coordinating care with the nursing team.

The position supports a compassionate, fixed schedule with a focused team approach and opportunities for professional development in a growing addiction treatment network.

Qualifications

  • Must hold LPN or RN license in the state of practice.
  • License must be active, in good standing, and unencumbered.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills; blood draws on collapsed veins are a plus.
  • Active CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow policies to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the provider's orders.
  • Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
  • Coordinate care with clinical staff for continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and assess impairment as needed.
  • Ensure medication counts are accurate and completed daily.
  • Follow compliance policies around documentation practices and expectations.
  • Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings.
  • Engage with patients with empathy and a listening ear.

Responsibilities
  • Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider’s orders.
  • Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
  • Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation including assessing for impairment.
  • Ensure medication counts are accurate and completed daily.
  • Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
  • Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings.
  • Connect with patients, offering empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing, or a multi-state compact status license.
  • License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active. If applicable, disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills; experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
  • Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday; 4:45am–1:00pm
  • Rotating Saturday; 5:30am–10:30am
