Job summary

Klaton Consultants is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Assisted Living communities across Topeka, Kansas City, and Manhattan. The role collaborates with Executive Directors and Resident Care Coordinators to ensure timely completion of tasks such as quarterly pharmacy reviews, Risk Watch, and admissions processes.

The LPN will participate in routine labs, notify PCPs of results and new orders, and assist with in-house physician visits and order entry.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Current and valid driving/transportation arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quarterly pharmacy reviews and Risk Watch activities.
• Assist with admissions and re-admissions.
• Oversee labs: routine draws, review results, PCP notification and new orders.
• Support in-house physician visits/ rounds and order entry.
• Provide coverage for RCC when the RCC is on vacation, sick, or position is vacant.

This person will cover the region of:

• Topeka
• Kansas City
• Manhattan

This person will work with the Executive Directors and RCCs (Resident Care Coordinator) to assist with task completion of items such as: quarterly pharmacy reviews, Risk Watch, admissions/re-admissions, labs (routine draw, review completion, and documented results, PCP notification and new orders, in-house physician visits/rounds, and order entry, and covering for the RCC when the RCC is on vacation, sick or if the position is vacant for a period of time.

This person must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and have reliable transportation.
