Job summary

Road To Responsibility Inc. seeks a full-time LPN to provide general nursing care in residential services. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires. Responsibilities include medication administration, vitals, and coordinating with DDS/DPPC and families for medical care.

Must hold a current LPN license, have at least one year of related experience, and possess a valid driver’s license. Strong documentation and computer skills (MS Word) are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have current LPN license.
• Minimum of one year related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and internet.
• Willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and other DDS/DPPC checks.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medication and treatments in accordance with MAP Guidelines.
• Explains procedures and treatments to individuals to gain cooperation and reduce apprehension.
• Oversee medication administration within the program according toDDS regulations.
• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs.
• Observes individuals and notifies supervisor of conditions or reactions to drugs.
• Maintain safety, comfort, and well-being of clients; assist with personal care as needed.
